New Marston Primary School is a multicultural school with a strong nurturing ethos. We have a two class in-take and a Foundation Stage attached to the school, which includes a nursery.

Parents need to apply to the local authority for a school place so that their children can start school in the September after their 4th birthday. This school place is then theirs for the whole primary age range until they leave the school at the end of year 6, aged 11.

The school deals with admissions to the nursery. We provide part-time morning and afternoon places for children in their F2/nursery year. That is, children who are 3 years old by the 1st September. This is a free entitlement.

The entry point for those aged 3 by the 1st September is usually at the start of the September term, but can be January or April if there are still places available. We recommend a September start to gain maximum benefits from the learning opportunities provided.

Please contact us to find out more about admission to our nursery.
